Where will you go when your kids have their holiday?

For me, if they have short holiday, Me and my husband will try to bring them to some places where they can play outside. We like to bring them to swimming pool, playing garden or just walking around in the city center and have some nice snack or dinner in the restaurant, which is friendly child restaurant of course. We do like to bring them to the beach. But since we are living far away from beach, we have to do it when they have long holiday at least, so we can stay few night in the hotel which is near the beach. We did it few times last year, but did not do it yet this year.

How about you? Do you have other idea where to bring your small children when their holiday come?
